DAS-HRE administers the group insurance plans (health, dental, life,and long term disability), the deferred compensation program, income protection benefits, time off , and other benefits for over 27,000 State of Iowa employees from all three branches of government. In addition to active employees, HRE manages the health and dental plans for over 10,000 State retirees. |

You can create your own username and password combination that is unique and meaningful to you, making it easier to remember. Optional insurance coverage not provided under the current employee benefit package is available to State of Iowa employees. Premiums for insurance policies, not offered by the State of Iowa, are paid through post-tax payroll deductions.
